Job summary

Texas Instruments is seeking a motivated Product Engineer to join the HVDC product line within High Voltage Power. You will contribute to the qualification of GaN FETs and Si gate driver devices for data center markets and lead new product development from KO to RTM and beyond.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with Design, Applications, Test, Marketing, Manufacturing, Quality, Packaging and Reliability in all aspects of new product development to accomplish project goals
  • Aligning with the QRE team to generate die and package qualification plans for Automotive, Industrial, and Commercial devices
  • Owning and driving execution of the product qualification plan including milestones, risk assessment, test plans, data analysis and product release
  • Qualification hardware design for stresses such as dynamic HTOL, Biased HAST and Power Temp Cycle
  • Submission and guidance of failure analysis to determine root causes of reliability and qualification failures
  • Driving activities for cost reduction, capacity expansion, and quality enhancement in manufacturing
  • Managing production escalation with engineers at the factory and coordinating with Manufacturing and Quality teams
  • Interacting with PPIT partners to define and co-develop new GaN technologies
