Job summary

Texas Instruments in Dallas is seeking a Validation Engineer for HVDC datacenter power solutions, including 400V GaN stages and low-voltage rectifiers. You will lead validation across device and system levels, building PCBs, and developing automation to accelerate data collection.

Collaborating with design, systems, and test engineering teams, you will drive test plans, run comprehensive validations, and document results to support product readiness for market.

Qualifications

  • Experience validating high-voltage power electronics across device- and system-level specs.
  • Ability to design validation plans mapping to datasheet and VVCM.
  • Experience building validation PCBs and automation for data collection.
  • Strong collaboration with design, systems, and test engineering teams.

Responsibilities

  • Define, own, and execute a comprehensive validation test plan covering VVCM, datasheet, and functional tests.
  • Design and build high-voltage validation PCBs and ensure signal and power integrity.
  • Develop automated test sequences using NI TestStand and LabVIEW to collect data across devices and conditions.
  • Analyze data to verify device compliance and pass/fail criteria before sign-off.
  • Lead cross-functional reviews on validation hardware, tests, and debug findings with stakeholders.
  • Document test plans, procedures, and validation results thoroughly.
  • Author concise validation summaries for program records and reviews.
