Job summary

GameStop is seeking a Store Manager to oversee all facets of store operations, including guest service, inventory control, scheduling and payroll. You will lead a retail team, promote a sales culture, and ensure a clean, organized environment while driving sales and profitability across the store’s footprint.

You will train associates, manage onboarding, and ensure compliance with company policies, while delivering exceptional guest experiences and championing product knowledge and promotions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred in business, marketing, merchandising.
• At least 1 year of retail management experience required.
• At least 3 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management experience preferred.
• Video game knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead in a multiunit capacity.
• Provide and model best-in-class guest service: greet guests, respond to questions quickly and courteously, assist guests with video gaming needs, inform about promotions, and promote selling behaviors.
• Schedule store associates; supervise staff to ensure guest service excellence and adherence to guidelines.
• Oversee payroll, paid time off, and time edits; ensure accurate compensation for time worked.
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, inventory control, and compliance with policies; ensure products are visible and easy to buy.
