Job summary

GameStop is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Cincinnati to support the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations. You will lead a team, drive sales, promote guest loyalty programs, and ensure an exceptional shopping experience for every guest.

You will supervise staff, manage scheduling, and uphold company policies while delivering outstanding guest service and maintaining store standards daily.

Qualifications

• Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or accredited bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred.
• At least 6 months of retail management experience preferred.
• At least 2 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management experience preferred.
• Video game knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class guest service and greetings; respond to questions and concerns quickly and courteously.
• Promote loyalty programs and store initiatives to drive sales.
• Supervise Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Ensure store is clean, organized, and merchandised per guidelines.
• Manage scheduling and staffing to maintain guest service levels.
• Process transactions accurately using POS and handle cash securely.
• Support onboarding and training of staff; ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Assist with inventory control, loss prevention, and bank deposits.
