Job summary

GameStop, a leading gaming retailer in the United States, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Westerville, OH. The role focuses on supporting the Store Manager, delivering exceptional guest service, and driving sales through effective team leadership and knowledge sharing in a fast-paced environment.

You will supervise Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders, manage daily operations, and uphold company standards while promoting loyalty programs and ensuring a safe, engaging shopping

Qualifications

• Proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or accredited bachelor’s degree with emphasis in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred.
• At least 6 months of retail management experience preferred.
• At least 2 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management experience preferred.
• Video game knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide best-in-class guest service; respond to questions quickly and courteously.
• Support store operations, including visual and promotional initiatives, to drive sales.
• Process guest purchases/returns using POS system accurately and efficiently.
• Train and supervise Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders; coordinate onboarding and schedule team members.
• Promote loyalty programs and revenue-generating initiatives; ensure a clean, organized store.
• Assist with payroll, scheduling, and compliance to store policies.
