Job summary

Agua Caliente Band Of Cahuilla Indians seeks a Compliance Officer to oversee reviews and guidance of Marketing Promotions as they relate to Federal, State, MICS and internal controls to ensure accuracy and audit readiness.

You will work closely with the ACGC Compliance Manager for the Agua Caliente Gaming Commission, ensuring regulatory adherence and producing concise reports. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential, with travel to tribal casinos as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of work experience in a casino regulatory environment.
• Understanding of Internal Controls, Regulations, Federal and State laws governing Indian Gaming.
• Good English skills, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve Marketing Promotions for compliance.
• Interact with Marketing and other departments on Promotions compliance.
• Write concise and comprehensive reports.
• Perform Compliance Reviews as directed by the Compliance Manager.
• Assist in maintaining Compliance Department information as directed by the Compliance Manager.
• Become proficient in all functions of the Compliance Department.
• Review security measures of Internal Controls for compliance with laws and policies.
• Assist ACGC staff with Compliance questions and reviews.
• Understand MICS, Tribal Compact, and Internal Controls related to Indian Gaming.
