Job summary

Main Event Entertainment in Jacksonville is seeking a Games Attendant to be at the center of the action on our games floor. You will be tech-savvy, outgoing and create FUN memories for guests, recommending games and activities based on interests.

Daily duties include monitoring Laser Tag, Mini Golf, Gravity Ropes, and other attractions, performing minor repairs, assisting guests with prize redemption, and reporting wear and tear to the Technical Team.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role is a plus but not required.
• Guest-focused mindset and positive attitude.
• Technological comfort and willingness to learn.
• Team-oriented with good communication.
• Ability to work days, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Monitor rides and games to ensure they are stocked, clean and safe.
• Provide memorable guest experiences with exceptional service.
• Keep games and Winner’s Choice clean and stocked.
• Assist guests with questions about point redemption.
• Perform minor repairs on games and laser tag vests.
• Report wear and tear to the Technical Team as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
• Welcome guests and promote a FUN atmosphere.
• Handle opening, mid-day, or closing duties.

At Main Event, our Games Attendants are at the center of the action on our games floor! As a Games Attendant, you are technologically savvy, outgoing, and know how to create FUN memories for our Guests! You are knowledgeable about all our games and entertainment options and can make recommendations based on a Guest’s interests and needs. You monitor event activities, safety protocols, and make redemption suggestions so our Guests can take home the best prizes!

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

• Monitoring activities such as Laser Tag, Mini Golf, Gravity Ropes, Escape Rooms, Gel Blasters, and Rock Climbing to ensure they are stocked, clean and safe
• Creating memorable experiences by providing exceptional service
• Making sure the games and Winner’s Choice are clean and stocked
• Assisting Guests with questions regarding point redemption
• Performing minor repairs to games and laser tag vests
• Partnering with the Technical Team to report wear-and-tear and damage to games or equipment (communication is key!)
• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)
• Welcome and engage with all guests while being an ambassador of FUN!
• Performing opening, mid-day, or closing duties

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in a similar role a plus, but not required
• Guest-focused mindset (We heart our Guests!)
• Savvy with technology and a willingness to learn new things
• Teamwork is a must (Teamwork makes the dream work!)
• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests
• Availability to workdays, nights and/or weekends
