Job summary

Main Event Entertainment in Knoxville is seeking a Technician II to keep our games and entertainment options running safely. You will perform electrical and mechanical maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and help maintain the center’s equipment and facilities.

You’ll also welcome guests and act as a FUN ambassador while working with a team in a fast-paced environment. This role offers on-the-job training, a strong safety culture, and opportunities to advance as part of a growing center team.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• 1+ years of general knowledge/skill in repair and maintenance of automated bowling equipment or arcade games.
• Guest-focused mindset.
• Teamwork is essential.
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills.
• Ability to learn and use multiple business support systems.
• Electronics, mechanics, and hydraulics fundamentals.
• Basic hand tool usage; able to operate tools safely.
• Able to work on ladders and handle equipment up to 250 lbs.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety practices and PPE use.
• Effective communication with management, teammates, and guests.
• Willingness to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, mechanical, and technical work including preventive and scheduled maintenance on games and equipment.
• Troubleshoot repairs on games, tellers, pinsetters, etc.
• Disassemble, replace, and repair mechanical and electrical components.
• Maintain accurate inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Keep the mechanic shop and facility organized and clean.
• Uphold safety and sanitation standards and serve guests as a FUN ambassador.
• Participate in paid on-the-job training.
