Job summary

Main Event Entertainment is seeking a Technician II to help maintain our centers and ensure all games and entertainment options run safely and smoothly. You will troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, perform scheduled maintenance, and support facility operations to deliver a fun guest experience.

You will work on ladders and heavy equipment, keep detailed inventory, and participate in on-the-job training to grow your skills in a dynamic entertainment environment.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• 1+ years of repair/maintenance experience on automated arcade or bowling equipment.
• Guest-focused mindset.
• Teamwork is essential.
• Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to learn and use multiple business systems.
• Knowledge of electronics, mechanics, and hydraulics.
• Basic use of hand tools; able to handle tools to perform work.
• Ability to work on ladders and lift equipment up to 250 lbs.
• Familiar with OSHA safety practices and PPE.
• Excellent communication with management, teammates and guests.
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
• Welcome and engage with guests as a FUN ambassador.
• Perform electrical, mechanical, and technical work on construction, repairs, preventive, and scheduled maintenance.
• Troubleshoot repairs on games, tellers, pinsetters, etc.
• Disassemble, replace, and repair mechanical and electrical components.
• Maintain accurate inventory records.
• Order supplies, tools, and materials as needed.
• Keep the mechanic shop and facility organized and clean.
• Paid on-the-job training.
