Job summary

Palmetto Goodwill is seeking a FLSA non-exempt Kitchen Supervisor to prepare and supervise meals according to the Armed Forces Recipe System. You will train cooks and trainees, maintain galley sanitation, and ensure meals meet quality and timing standards.

The role requires security clearance eligibility, ServSafe certification within 90 days, and several years of supervisory food preparation experience in a demanding environment.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Five years’ experience in volume food preparation.
• 3–5 years’ experience in a supervisor position.
• Must be able to obtain a security clearance.
• Within 90 days, candidates must obtain ServSafe certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and supervise meals per the Armed Forces Recipe System (P-7).
• Train cooks and employee/client trainees.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of galley and work spaces.
• Ensure bake products are served on prescribed meal hours.
• Monitor food costs and budget compliance.
