Job summary

Southside Unlimited seeks a Gallery Manager to oversee the Work of Art Gallery and Studios. You will supervise staff, provide training, and ensure quality gallery operations, workshops, events, and artist support.

This role requires flexible hours including evenings and events, with regular coordination with leadership. You will work to maintain compliance with policies, manage staff scheduling, and support program development and artist services.

Qualifications

• Requires BA/MA in art-related field or equivalent
• Requires AA in human services or 3+ years in the development disabilities field
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and report writing

Responsibilities

• Oversee all program operations for gallery, studios, workshops, events, sales and artist support.
• Supervise staff, provide training, and support to ensure quality program delivery.
• Coordinate scheduling, payroll timesheets, and staff evaluations.
• Collaborate with instructors and program leadership on curriculum and events.
• Lead community outreach, marketing, and public art projects.
• Ensure compliance with policies and prepare daily/weekly reports.
