The Hudson Milliner Art Salon is seeking a creative, organized Gallery Manager to help run our gallery and events space. The role blends gallery operations, exhibition support, administrative tasks, communications, and creative production.

Job description

The Hudson Milliner Art Salon is looking for a creative, organized Gallery Manager to help run our gallery and events space. The position combines gallery operations, exhibition support, administrative support, communications, and creative production. This is an entry-level role.

The ideal candidate possesses an understanding of fine arts, culture, and/or associated spaces. Professional experience is a plus, but is not required. Motivated candidates will find plenty of opportunities for growth, including additional curatorial opportunities, artist-specific opportunities, and greater administrative authority.

Schedule
  • The typical schedule for this role is Friday - Sunday, 12 - 6 p.m. with some flexibility. Those interested can take on additional hours during the week for exhibition prep or other busy periods.

  • This generally means 18 hours per week. If interested, one may receive 20 - 25 hours per week or even 30 hours per week in the most exceptional situations.
