Walters Art Museum seeks a Monitor Room Officer to provide a safe environment for visitors and staff, monitor alarms and CCTV, and enforce museum policies. The role involves rounds, incident reporting, and assisting during special events in a 100% onsite setting.

The Monitor Room Officer provides a safe and secure environment for all visitors and staff, as well as the art collection, by monitoring the activities in the museum. The Monitor Room Officer will report hazards such as fire, theft, vandalism, trespassing, disorderly conduct, etc., maintain order, and enforce the policies and procedures of the Walters Art Museum.
This position is Full-Time, 40 hours/week; schedule of Wednesday - Sunday, 12:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m., or as required by circumstances and special events.
Must be flexible to work overtime as essential personnel. Essential personnel remain on duty and on site until properly relieved.
HOURLY RATE: $22.05/hour. This position is eligible for $0.50 Shift Differential per eligible hour worked.
