Texas A&M University-Commerce invites applications for Graduate Assistant Research (GAR) in Psychology & Special Education. The GAR assists with research, labs, teaching support, and data entry, and may prepare reports or support faculty as assigned.
The position requires up to 20 hours per week and Fall 2026–Spring 2027 GAR postings. Eligible to apply include admitted TAMU-Commerce graduate students and those meeting GPA and training prerequisites, including CITI training.

Job Description GAR Graduate Assistant Research (GAR) assistantships require recipients to aid in the research with the department/professor to which they are assigned. Work may also include tasks such as assisting with labs, offering teaching support, assisting faculty with research, preparing reports, entering data or other responsibilities as assigned.
The duties of a full-time GAR require a maximum of 20 hours of work per week.
