Texas A&M University in Commerce, TX is seeking a Federal Work Study Student: Administrative Assistant for the Campus Recreation department. This on-site role supports daily administrative tasks, data entry, and records management within a campus recreation setting.
The position emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and the use of Microsoft Office tools to generate reports and support department initiatives. Part-time student worker with flexible scheduling may be available.

Provide exceptional customer service by welcoming and assisting Campus Recreation participants, answering questions accurately and professionally, addressing concerns in a courteous manner, and creating a positive, engaging environment for all patrons and participants. Market Campus Recreation and area events. Demonstrate a commitment to providing an environment where people feel welcomed, valued, supported, and respected as they work to pursue their academic and professional goals. Attend all department and area trainings and meetings as assigned. Keep up to date on all TrainTraq assignments. Be prepared to encounter and respond to various hazards, with training provided to ensure safety and proper handling of potential risks. Maintain a standard of conduct while participating in Campus Rec activities or facilities, serving as a role model for other patrons by adhering to all safety, behavior, and policies. Assists with department events and programming as needed. Work early morning, night, and weekend hours as needed. All positions are security-sensitive. Applicants are subject to a criminal history investigation, and employment is contingent upon the institution’s verification of credentials and/or other information required by the institution’s procedures, including the completion of the criminal history check.
