Job summary

Sysco is seeking an experienced outside sales professional to promote our products and services and build relationships with new and existing accounts. The role may require non-traditional hours to meet customer needs and includes a base salary with bonus and incentives.

You will develop new business, service existing accounts, and drive profitable growth while learning our diverse product lines and sales strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related field OR HSD/GED with 3 years restaurant management/outside sales experience.
• Bi-Lingual preferred qualifications noted in the posting.
• Restaurant Management or Foodservice Outside Sales experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts, and minimize lost business to achieve profitable sales growth.
• Seek and qualify prospects following company account stratification goals.
• Research customer business needs and develops a mix of products and service to meet needs.
• Evaluate market trends and recommend products to customers based on business needs and goals.
• Provide product information and practical training to customer personnel.
