Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• 3+ years supporting manufacturing launches.
• Ability to work independently and drive escalations when required.
• Strong collaboration across plants and central teams.
• Data management, analysis, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Teamcenter, AutoDesk, and Microsoft Office tools.
• Experience leading complex projects with scheduling and reporting.
• Travel up to 50% within the U.S. and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Define changes including tooling, automation, workstation layout, facilities.
• Analyze and design efficient material flow and future-state strategies.
• Develop interfaces and deploy common tooling, processes, and standards.
• Provide technical direction to vendors and internal teams.
• Lead design, construction, integration, and launch of equipment.
• Coordinate automation projects with CI and ME/IE teams.
• Coordinate validation metrics driven by design capability and throughput.
• Apply analytical skills to resolve complex manufacturing issues.
• Identify, evaluate, and implement optimization opportunities.
• Conduct project plan reviews with production management and contractual understanding.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing and maintenance teams.
• Ensure projects meet financial and budget targets.
• Oversee engineering deliverables and on-site launch support.
• Run vehicle and progress integration meetings and communicate status.
