Job summary

Solairus Aviation is seeking a Full-Time Client Aviation Manager (CAM) to lead the flight department at KBDL. The role requires strong leadership, adherence to safety and service standards, and collaboration with clients to meet travel needs.

The CAM will supervise crews, coordinate training and maintenance flights, and ensure timely reporting and proper recordkeeping. The position emphasizes a professional demeanor and active involvement in Safety Management System initiatives.

Qualifications

• Total flight time 3000 hours.
• PIC time 1500 hours.
• MEL 1500 hours.
• MEL PIC 500 hours.
• Turbojet time 500 hours.
• Instrument time 250 hours.

Responsibilities

• Supervises personnel to ensure compliance with Solairus, FAA, and other requirements.
• Monitors appearance, dress code, and conduct to uphold standards.
• Maintains current reading files of Solairus memorandums.
• Coordinates training with training contractor.
• Coordinates maintenance flights and client scheduling.
• Develops scheduling procedures with clients for reliable aircraft scheduling.
• Approves PTO and communicates schedule changes.
• Leads meetings to coordinate activities and promote goodwill.
• Approves expense accounts for personnel.
• Participates in interview process for new staff.
• Obtains input from Client Responsible Officer on operations and admin issues.
• Submits required reports per Operations Manuals.
• Maintains and revises manuals and publications.
• Maintains training currency and flight time records per Solairus FOM.
• Ensures timely submission of training records, medicals, and data.
• Promotes goodwill and Solairus reputation.
• Participates in SMS implementation and policy adherence.
