Job summary

Base is rebuilding the foundation of modern civilization by scaling a network of distributed batteries. A Talent Partner will own full-cycle recruiting for G&A, partnering with leaders to build focused hiring processes and candidate pipelines across Legal, Accounting, Finance, People, and other corporate functions.

You will work with senior stakeholders, learn rapidly across functions, and move quickly in a startup environment where priorities shift.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience across G&A or corporate functions.
• Experience recruiting specialized talent across functions such as Legal, Accounting, Finance, People, or similar areas.
• Ability to hire IC through senior leaders and adjust search/closing strategy accordingly.
• Proven sourcing ability to identify, engage, and close candidates who aren’t actively looking.
• Strong business acumen and ability to learn a function quickly and assess candidates beyond keywords.
• Credibility with senior stakeholders and ability to push back when needed.
• Data-driven approach to recruiting: track metrics and use data to make decisions.
• Comfort with ambiguity and ability to build processes where none exist.
• Sound judgment under pace to move fast without compromising hiring bar.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting across G&A functions, from sourcing through offer close.
• Build specialized talent pipelines for Legal, Accounting, Finance, People, and other corporate functions.
• Learn functional implications to distinguish exceptional talent for specialized roles.
• Partner with leaders to scope roles, define success, and calibrate interview processes.
• Advise on market insights, compensation data, and recruiting judgments.
• Champion candidate experience so every candidate leaves with a positive view of Base.
• Track pipeline health and time-to-fill to identify bottlenecks and improve outcomes.
• Move across multiple searches and levels with speed and precision.
