Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as diagrams, safety rules, and procedures manuals.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and percentages.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit controls.
• Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Assist with store merchandising and proper pricing and display of merchandise.
• Assist in inventory management including damages, markdowns, and paperwork.
• Follow ordering practices to meet in-stock targets.
• Provide customer service leadership and act as a role model for policy adherence.
• Participate in opening/closing store activities and secure deposits.
• Ensure financial integrity through cashier accountability and cash handling.
• Maintain clean, safe, well-stocked store conditions and operate in the store manager's absence.
• Review operating statements for trends, expenses, shrink, and errors.
