Job summary

Constellation is seeking Initial License Trainees (ILT) to become licensed Senior Reactor Operators (SRO) at Calvert Cliffs Generating Station in Lusby, MD. The program trains candidates to supervise licensed reactor operators in the reactor control room and to oversee bargaining unit operators and technicians.

You will participate in classroom instruction and on‑the‑job training, progress through NRC licensing phases, and ultimately be fully licensed to supervise operations and outages.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year Reactor Operator license at a comparable facility or 1.5 years at a noncomparable facility.
• Degree from a 4-year program or equivalent in engineering, engineering technology, or physical sciences, or professional engineer license, with relevant supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Attend Initial License Training (ILT) including classroom and on-the-job training and evaluation.
• Complete all phases of training to obtain an SRO license to perform duties of an Operations Shift Supervisor.
• Perform other job assignments including emergency response, outage support, and departmental coverage as directed.
