Job summary

Fulton County Schools in Atlanta, GA seeks a Manager-In-Training for the School Nutrition program. This role develops the candidate’s skills toward independent management while ensuring compliance with federal, state, local and FCBOE policies.

Training includes monthly Managers’ Meetings, MIT classes and 12 hours In-Service annually; ServSafe certification is required and preferred for advancement to SNP Manager.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• National Restaurant ServSafe Certified required.
• 1 year of food service or management experience; SNP management experience preferred.
• Must understand and follow written and verbal instructions; good communication and time management.

Responsibilities

• Communicates effectively with customers, staff and administrators in a tactful, cooperative manner.
• Follow instructions both verbal and written.
• Adhere to School Nutrition work rules, report absences to Supervisor and Principal.
• Maintain HACCP sanitation standards, including food handling and storage.
• Complete training: Managers’ Meetings, MIT courses, in-service hours, and Orientation.
