Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three years of experience in school nutrition management or food service.
• Must complete 30 credit hours of core Training-in-Depth annually.

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises the school cafeteria and nutrition program.
• Ensures meals meet district, state and federal requirements and quality standards.
• Trains and supervises nutrition staff, schedules work, and maintains records.
• Orders, stores, prepares and serves meals; maintains HACCP practices.
• Monitors attendance, payroll data, and cash handling procedures.
• Maintains inventories and supports equipment maintenance and repairs.
