Job summary

Metropolitan School District of Washington Township is seeking a Child Nutrition Manager in Training. Location to be determined with a full-time schedule, Monday–Friday, 6:45am–3:00pm.

Salary at $19.50/hour with college degree bonus offers, plus medical/dental/vision and life insurance benefits. As part of the program, the manager in training will learn nutrition, operations, administration and marketing to eventually advance to a cafeteria manager position, with hands-on supervision, inventory,

Qualifications

Ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
Ability to supervise personnel and coordinate staff.
Knowledge of health and safety codes and HACCP.
Experience with cash handling and basic bookkeeping.
Strong customer service and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Assist cafeteria manager in planning, organizing and coordinating daily operations.
Learn nutrition, operations, administration and marketing to promote to a manager position.
Learn to operate food service equipment and manage inventory.
