Qualifications

• One year of experience in Cy-Fair Food Service Department.
• Currently a Cy-Fair Manager, Assistant Manager or Back-Up Manager.
• TASN Certificate - or actively working towards certification.
• Good organization skills; be able to prioritize and organize daily work schedules.
• Good math skills; be able to work with currency accurately.
• Able to work independently with limited supervision.
• Basic computer skills.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 60 lbs. and operating related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Administer the National School Breakfast and Lunch Programs at the satellite unit.
• Accurately take, record and extend inventory.
• Market the school food service program.
• Motivate employees and provide continual training.
• Ensure sanitation procedures and attend required sanitation classes.
• Direct proper handling and cooking of food.
• Monitor safety standards and document incidents.
• Order and receive all supplies for the satellite unit.
• Manage money, tickets, deposits and banking procedures.
• Present a professional image and approach to work.
• Monitor monthly financial status of the unit.
• Attend manager meetings and enforce district policies.
