Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Apprentice to learn installation, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of electronic, mechanical, and control systems within a complex fulfillment center. The program includes classroom, lab, and on-the-job training, with promotion to MRT after completion.

Participants attend a 9-week training at partner colleges and travel accommodations are provided. Potential for growth through hands-on experience and structured safety training.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to enroll in and attend a 9-week training at one of four colleges.
• Able to complete one year of On-the-Job Learning after the training.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
• Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts/areas.

Responsibilities

• Safety: follow processes at school and on shop floor for safe operation during On-the-Job Learning.
• Maintenance: perform scheduled, preventive maintenance and test equipment.
• Monitoring: analyze technical specifications of mechatronic systems and components.
• Support: learn PLCs and work with Automation Engineers in a lab setting.
• Communication: collaborate effectively within a team in school and in OJL.
