Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an Automation Engineer Apprentice in Rancho Cordova, CA. You will learn to troubleshoot and maintain material handling equipment (MHE) including conveyors, sortation systems, scanners, labeling systems, scales, and HMI cabinets while supporting preventive maintenance and safety compliance.

The program pairs apprentices with journey workers across high-automation facilities, emphasizes on-the-job learning, teamwork, and advancement.

Qualifications

• RME Mechatronics & Robotics experience required or preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventative/corrective maintenance and basic troubleshooting of robotics and robotic work cells.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to material handling equipment components.
• Maintain and troubleshoot motors, photo eyes, relays, proximity sensors, solenoids, motor starters, tachometers.
• Assist with basic PLC troubleshooting.
