Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield's C&W Services seeks an Automation Engineer Apprentice to learn troubleshooting and maintenance of material handling equipment, conveyors, sortation systems, scanners, and related controls. The program emphasizes safety, on-the-job training, and mentorship from senior technicians.

You will gain hands-on experience with high-automation systems, while developing skills in maintenance, electrical and PLC troubleshooting, and teamwork across operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year RME Mechatronics & Robotics Technician experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and nights.
• Able to commute to the specified site.
• Must complete 12-week training at a designated area.
• Commit to a 2-year onsite apprenticeship post-training.
• Basic mathematics knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventative/corrective maintenance and basic troubleshooting of robotics and robotic work cells.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all material handling equipment components.
• Maintain and troubleshoot motors, sensors, relays, solenoids, and related controls.
• Assist with basic electronics and PLC troubleshooting.
