Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required.
• Degree in healthcare administration, business, nursing, public health or related field preferred.
• Previous leadership or healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to meet the eligibility requirements established by the Alabama Board of Examiners of Nursing Home Administrators.
• Willingness to relocate within Alabama following completion of the program.

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure to clinical services, employee recruitment and retention, financial management, regulatory compliance and resident experience.
• Work under a licensed Nursing Home Administrator and support operations across departments.
• Participate in all aspects of facility operations and leadership development.
• Assist in budget, quality improvement, and environmental services as part of the program.
