Job summary

Farmers Insurance Group is seeking an Insurance Sales Agent - Trainee to leverage sales and organizational skills to help customers with their insurance needs. The role includes training, licensing support, and a path to ownership through hands-on experience.

You will meet clients by phone or in person, selling auto, home, life, business, and more, while growing your client book with uncapped commissions and bonuses. Monday–Friday schedule with occasional evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience or aptitude in sales environments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to negotiate and solve problems with clients.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to obtain required licenses within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on insurance options across multiple lines.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to generate new business.
• Cultivate and maintain client relationships and their insurance needs.
• Prepare and present proposals, policy changes and claims promptly.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulations and collaborate to hit targets.
