Job summary

Avalon Care Center Federal Way is seeking an Administrator in Training (AIT) to gain hands-on leadership experience in skilled nursing. This role offers exposure to daily operations, staff development, and resident services in a supportive team environment.

You will learn state and federal regulations, participate in policy implementation, assist with budgeting, hiring, and marketing efforts, and grow your healthcare career at Avalon Care Center Federal Way.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to learn and understand state and federal regulations related to skilled nursing facilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day operations of the facility.
• Learn and understand state and federal regulations related to skilled nursing facilities.
• Assist with the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
• Assist with the hiring and training of new staff members.
• Assist with the management of resident care and services.
• Assist with the management of the facility's budget and financial operations.
