Avalon Care Center Federal Way is offering an Administrator in Training (AIT) program designed to develop the next generation of healthcare leaders. You will gain hands-on experience in skilled nursing operations while working with experienced administrators.

This full-time role provides leadership training, mentorship, and clear career growth opportunities, with pay ranging from $65,000 to $75,000 per year. Residents of Washington state are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field.
• Be a resident of Washington.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organization and time management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn healthcare regulations and facility operations.

Responsibilities

• Learn the daily operations of a skilled nursing facility.
• Assist with resident care services and facility management.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and staff development efforts.
• Participate in management meetings and training programs.
• Learn state and federal regulations for long-term care.
• Assist with budgeting, financial operations, and business management.
• Support facility marketing and community outreach initiatives.
