Job summary

Taco Bell in California is seeking a Restaurant General Manager to lead the operations of a single unit, ensuring profitable performance, high standards of cleanliness, hospitality, product quality and speed of service.

You will train employees, manage staffing, handle hiring, supervise guest service, and maintain compliance with safety and sanitation rules while coaching a team to achieve strong sales and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old or older.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
• Have open availability and the ability to work flexible hours and all shifts as needed.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain financial controls and coach and train employees.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cost categories including food cost, labor cost, cash and controllable expenses to company guidelines and budgeted levels.
• Drive sales growth by improving 5 Bells, CORE, speed of service and food quality.
• Maintain adequate staffing levels for all shifts and days.
• Conduct performance appraisals for crew, shift managers, and assistant general managers.
• Recruit and hire new crew, shift leaders, and assistant general managers.
• Coach and develop team to achieve certification and performance targets.
• Ensure restaurant cleanliness and compliance with sanitation guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with all laws pertaining to employment and safety.
