Farmers Insurance District 37's Protégé Agency Producer Program in Austin lets you learn inside a high-performing Farmers agency with agency ownership as the goal. You'll work alongside an experienced owner, build real production, and earn your way toward launching your own agency.

No outside capital required to get started. Total compensation ranges from $60,000 up to $100,000 (base + commission + bonuses), based on performance.

Qualifications

• Some sales wins; desire to build own business.
• Coachable: accepts feedback and applies it quickly.
• Thinks like an owner and seeks equity in the future.
• Able to build relationships and referral networks in the community.
• Licensing: will earn Texas Property & Casualty license (Life & Health follows during the program).
• Background check will be passed.

Compensation

Total compensation (base + commission + bonuses) ranges from $60,000 up to $100,000, based on performance.

What the program gives you

• Hands-on experience in an established, successful agency
• Training through the award-winning District and University of Farmers
• A defined <12-month path with clear production milestones
• Up to an $8,000 Graduation Bonus for completing the program and launching your agency
• Graduates may qualify for a waiver of standard new agent capital requirements
• Opportunity to become a Farmers agency owner, if an opportunity is available
