Havertys is actively seeking individuals to pursue a rewarding career in the retail furniture industry as a Retail Furniture Sales Consultant. You will help customers select furniture by understanding their needs and creating inviting spaces.

The role offers a paid training program, uncapped commission with guaranteed income, and opportunities to advance within the company. Earning potential ranges from $55,000 to $100,000+ per year.

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple customer communications simultaneously.
• Positive and engaging personality.
• Creative flair and energetic attitude.
• Proficient in resolving customer objections and ensuring satisfaction.
• Familiarity with a broad range of furniture styles and products preferred but not required.
• Computer proficiency including email experience; MS Office knowledge; Tablet/iPad operation strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to customers from initial contact through delivery and beyond.
• Demonstrate professional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills to connect with a diverse customer base.
• Build relationships with customers independently and with the Interior Design Consultant program.
• Assist customers in selecting furniture and reinforce their decisions.
• Provide product, service, and finance information based on customer needs.
