Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated in Bradenton, FL is seeking a Sales Associate to drive store sales, support the Design program, and deliver excellent customer service. Training pay starts at $16 per hour for 2–6 weeks with UNCAPPED commissions after training, and an annual earning potential of $45,000–$65,000+ including base, bonus and commissions.

Post-training pay includes base pay plus commissions, with a 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and strong selling experience.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential for success.
• Ability to close sales, persuade customers, and work effectively with a team.
• Experience with POS systems and basic office software is preferred.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Drive store sales by selling furniture, accessories and services.
• Promote the Design program and assist designers to hit sales goals.
• Provide exceptional customer service and a positive buying experience.
• Use sales skills from approach to close, with follow-up for repeat business.
• Maintain knowledge of product lines and promotions.
• Schedule deliveries and manage order details accurately.
