Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Minimum 2+ years experience with hand and electrical tools to assemble furniture.
• Basic computer knowledge and ability to use Office applications and retail software.
• Minimum 2+ years proven experience in furniture repair or finish work.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assess damages and select repair method for case goods, leather, fabric, upholstery.
• Perform woodworking, upholstery and leather repair, faux finishing, color matching, framing, coatings.
• Use fillers, burn-ins, color matching, structural repairs, and replace parts.
• Travel to customer homes for post-purchase repair work.
• Install, program and troubleshoot window treatment installations and repairs.
• Remove existing window coverings prior to new installations.
• Prepare surfaces for installation and ensure suitability.
• Fit blinds, drapery, shutters and similar coverings.
• Replace components of window coverings.
