Job summary

Service Corporation International in Puerto Rico is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a team of Sales Counselors and drive location sales quotas. You will provide ongoing instruction, manage aftercare processes, and coordinate marketing initiatives tailored to local demographics.

The role requires 3-5 years of sales management experience, with a preference for prior supervision of sales staff and experience in training and motivating teams.

Qualifications

• Education High school or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience Sales Management experience of 3-5 years required.
• Sales Counselor and sales supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience presenting, training, coaching and motivating salespeople and sales forces a plus.

Responsibilities

• Staff Management and Leadership.
• Meet and exceed established location sales quotas.
• Provide initial and ongoing sales instruction to ensure that all Sales Counselors meet customers' needs.
• Manage Sales Counselors as primary reference regarding aftercare, prospecting, product knowledge, sales presentations and closing.
• Develop marketing programs to fit local geography and demographics.
• Plan and participate in community events to generate prospects.
• Review contracts to ensure compliance with laws.
• Approve discounts and prepare reports demonstrating financial controls.
• Maintain marketing materials, training manuals, and sales equipment.

Education
