Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service and/or sales experience preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office suite and databases preferred; ability and willingness to learn required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for services by setting up floral arrangements, chairs, caskets, urns, photos and keepsakes.
• Prepare documents related to services, cremations, and maintenance as directed.
• Assist with preparation of remains and operating permissible equipment under supervision.
• Perform general office duties including answering phones, faxing, and basic computer tasks.
• Run errands for supplies and deliveries.
• Serve as an usher and assist with transportation needs for families.
• Drive funeral home vehicles for services and family pickups.
• Ensure refreshments are available where allowed by law.
• Assist with visitations and funeral services, including setup and dressing of remains.
