Job summary

NorthStar Memorial Group seeks a Staff Associate at Resthaven Funeral Home in Frederick, MD. You will play a key role supporting funeral directors and families through every step of the client life cycle, from the initial consultation to final arrangements.

You will handle on-site events, maintain relationships with families, prepare memorial areas, and ensure flowers and memorabilia are returned after services.

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
• Experience handling difficult situations.
• Funeral professional experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with funeral directors with events held on-site, including services and arrangement conferences.
• Establish and maintain strong business relationships with families.
• Always maintain reverence and respect for the deceased.
• Assist in preparing the memorial area for the family before the services start.
• Ensure that flowers and other memorabilia are returned to the family after services.
• Answer customer inquiries professionally, either by phone or in person.
