Job summary

Legacy Funeral Group in Abilene, TX seeks a Funeral Home and Cemetery Sales Manager to lead a sales team, increase market share and coordinate community outreach. The role emphasizes family service excellence, adherence to guidelines, and strategic budgeting with executive collaboration.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years funeral sales management experience preferred.
• A Texas Life insurance license preferred.
• 1-3 years experience as a Family Service Professional or Advanced Planning Professional preferred.
• History of community, civic, volunteer or sectarian work within the market.
• Knowledge of computers and some software.

Responsibilities

• Coach Family Service Professionals/Advanced Planning Professionals as primary reference for customer service, sales skills and guidelines.
• Schedule, lead distribution, and manage a sales team without needing to sell directly.
• Generate leads through community engagement and partnerships; coordinate group seminars.
• Assist in developing annual location pre-need sales budget and meet targets.
• Ensure 24-hour response to customer complaints and teach teams to convert issues into opportunities.
• Review and ensure contracts follow sales guidelines.
