SCI in Greeley, CO seeks an experienced administrator to manage the accounting and operational activities of a funeral home, cemetery and crematory location. You will ensure high quality services, maintain budgets, and foster positive employee relations while coordinating with multiple departments.

The role includes accounts payable/receivable, payroll, cash handling, compliance training (SOX, IVT), and HR-related processing. Strong organizational skills and compassion are essential.

Qualifications

• Two years bookkeeping, general office, clerical accounting, and accounts payable experience.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office and accounting systems.
• Excellent communication, confidentiality and problem solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversees accounting functions including accounts payable and receivable processing.
• Verifies and pays invoices, reconciles accounts, and manages cash deposits.
• Maintains petty cash and monitors SOX compliance and audits.
• Coordinates office and funeral home operational activities and reports.
• Prepares payroll paperwork and reviews time cards in line with policies.
• Updates GPLs, maintains employee files, and supports HR processes.
