Job summary

sci is hiring for a role managing the funeral home, cemetery and crematory operations, with emphasis on accounting, office administration and HR processes. You will oversee collections, payables, deposits, and reporting, while coordinating orders, inventory, and contract work orders to keep the location compliant and efficient.

Qualifications

• Education - High school diploma, GED or completion of a diploma-training program.
• Experience - Two (2) years bookkeeping, general office, clerical accounting, and Accounts Payable experience required.
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Solid working knowledge of computers, MS Office, e-mail, internet and basic office equipment required.

Responsibilities

• Accounting Function Oversight: collections, payables, cash handling, reconciliations and related controls.
• Operational Activities: orders/inventory, memorials/caskets, and contract/work order coordination.
• HR/payroll: process new hire paperwork and maintain confidential files, ensure SOX compliance and training.
