Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical diploma in Funeral Services or Mortuary Science preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mortuary Science or as required by state board.
• Funeral Director license as required by state board.
• At least five (5) years’ industry experience with increasing responsibilities.
• At least two (2) years’ experience guiding staff and communicating expectations.
• Budgeting and expense control experience preferred.
• Proficient MS Office Suite and HMIS/InfoPort/CarePoint familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Develop annual business plan and budgets; monitor financial goals and variances.
• Manage day-to-day operations, schedules, and customer service excellence.
• Lead Funeral Arrangements & Directing ensuring compassionate, compliant service.
• Recruit, coach, and develop staff; align team with company goals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on resources, processes, and improvements.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain facility standards.
