Job summary

Service Corporation International in Florida seeks a Funeral Home Manager to oversee daily operations, drive profitability, and ensure exceptional service delivery. You will partner with market leadership to develop plans, budgets, and staff development, and foster ownership and pride within the location.

You will direct funeral arrangements, supervise staff, monitor compliance, and engage with the community to promote services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Mortuary Science degree preferred.
• Funeral Director license as required by state/province law and board rules.
• At least five (5) years of industry experience with increasing responsibilities.
• Experience guiding staff and communicating expectations.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of a single Funeral Home location and single line of business.
• Develop annual business plan, budget, and revenue goals with Market Leadership.
• Oversee staff development, performance coaching, and succession planning.
• Ensure services exceed client family expectations and comply with regulations.
• Lead funeral arrangements and directing when required and engage with the community.
