Job summary

The Development Coordinator at MUSC Foundation provides essential support to Development Officers and leadership, helping to initiate and maintain donor relationships, manage proposals, coordinate events, and conduct donor research. Responsibilities include managing calendars, coordinating travel, using Raiser’s Edge for donor data, and assisting with donor proposals and reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 1–3 years of related experience
• Or high school diploma (or equivalent) and 5 years of related professional experience
• Equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support to Gift Officers, including managing calendars and coordinating follow-up communications.
• Coordinate fundraising initiatives and donor activities with physicians, administrators, and Foundation staff.
• Coordinate travel arrangements, itineraries, travel expenses and vendor payments.
• Support fundraising operations using Raiser’s Edge and other Foundation systems.
• Assist with planning small events, donor tours, and donor lunches as needed.
• Record and track donor and prospect activity in CRM systems and generate reports.
