Job summary

Cerberus Capital Management in New York seeks an Associate to support Asset-Backed Finance fundraising and investor diligence. You will build investor materials, coordinate responses, and partner with teams across investment, legal, compliance, and finance to create compelling content.

The role offers exposure to Fund II fundraising, a path toward capital formation or investor relations, and a strong compensation package including bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in sales operations, product strategy, investor relations, or capital formation support.
• Experience in private credit, asset-backed finance, or asset management preferred.
• Ability to develop investor-facing materials from scratch.
• Strong writing and storytelling skills.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple investor requests and deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with Salesforce, Qvidian, Preqin, Power BI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build fundraising and investor-facing materials from scratch (pitch books, presentations, updates, case studies).
• Coordinate responses to investor diligence requests (DDQs, RFPs, follow-ups).
• Collaborate with investment, capital formation, investor relations, legal, compliance, finance, and other teams to produce polished materials.
• Develop understanding of Cerberus Asset-Backed Finance strategies and fundraising priorities.
• Support Fund II fundraising with content, analytics, and investor communications.
• Position for a longer-term path into fundraising, investor relations, or capital formation.
