Qualifications

  • Ability to collaborate across internal departments and external stakeholders.
  • Based in the New York office with regular commute to other offices as needed.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales on fundraising, including due diligence materials, RFPs/RFIs, and pitch decks.
  • Provide consistent support to CRMs with debriefs after investor roadshows and meetings.
  • Develop a granular understanding of the Firm’s strategies to respond to investor requests.
  • Manage investor due diligence processes, including data room management and cross-team coordination.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating fundraising pipelines with timely reporting.
  • Maintain Data Room (Intralinks) and spearhead system updates.
  • Regularly update marketing collateral and firm-wide statistics.
  • Create investor profiles for effective CRM coverage and engagement strategies.
  • Coordinate the flow of information between fundraising, compliance, and client services.

Job description

Asset management firm with $70B AUM is seeking an Associate, Fundraising Management & Diligence Support.

Summary of Role

The Fundraising Management Due Diligence Support Associate provides critical support to external and internal sales teams, facilitating responses to investor questions, maintaining accurate status updates on the investor review process, and facilitating smooth communication across fundraising, compliance, and client service teams. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with a clear ability to manage and synthesize information effectively. This role will report to the Head of Fundraising Management.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Partner with sales team on fundraising efforts, including preparation of investment and operational due diligence materials, RFPs/RFIs, and pitch decks.
  • Provide consistent support to Client Relationship Managers (CRMs) by conducting regular debriefs following investor roadshows and meetings to gather essential information, identify actionable next steps, and coordinate timely follow-up activities.
  • Develop a granular understanding of the Firm’s strategies, people, operations and processes in order to effectively respond to requests and communicate with existing investors.
  • Manage investor due diligence processes, including data room management and coordination across internal teams.
  • Assist in maintaining, updating, and providing clear and timely reporting on fundraising pipelines.
  • Maintain Data Room (Intralinks) and spearhead new initiatives and updates within the system.
  • Maintain and regularly update marketing collateral and materials as well as firm-wide statistics.
  • Create and consistently update comprehensive investor profiles to enable effective coverage and engagement strategies by the CRM team.
  • Coordinate the effective flow of critical information between fundraising, compliance, and client services teams to streamline investor outreach and onboarding procedures.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field.
  • 1-3+ years of experience in a fundraising support, investor relations, client service, or similar role within asset management or financial services.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and data management tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively across internal departments and external stakeholders.
  • Position based in the New York office, must be willing to commute regularly to other offices as needed
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Compensation

Compensation: $110-150K (base commensurate with experience) plus discretionary bonus
