Job summary

State Voices seeks a Development Manager to split time between grant writing and building a robust donor pipeline in support of the organization’s fundraising goals. The role collaborates with the Development Officer and reports to the Director of Development.

It begins with prospect research and grant proposals, with growth into managing a donor portfolio, deepening funder relationships and securing transformative contributions.

Qualifications

• Experience with grant proposals and grant research.
• Ability to develop and manage donor pipelines.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Focus on prospect research and grant writing in the initial period.
• Support donor engagement strategies to strengthen the donor base.
• As the pipeline matures, manage donor relationships and help secure major gifts.
