Job summary

Frontier Community Credit Union is seeking a detail-oriented Funding Processor / Internal Control Specialist in Leavenworth, KS. This full-time role processes loan applications, funds documents, and reinforces control procedures across lending activities.

You will communicate with dealers, FSRs, and members, audit loan files, verify conditions, and disburse funds per loan terms. Strong Excel and multitasking are valuable assets in this position.

Qualifications

• Minimum three to five years of related experience (funding, lending, etc.).
• High school diploma or GED.
• Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn multiple platforms.

Responsibilities

• Process loan applications and fund documents within the Lending Department.
• Provide information and assistance to FSRs, dealerships, retailers, and members as required.
• As an Internal Control Specialist, ensure proper procedures are followed on all loans and audit results are prepared.
• Prepare, audit, and fund loan documents for indirect and direct lending, including dealer communications.
• Disburse funds according to loan conditions and type; follow up on unfunded loans.
